My Take on the AZ Audit
It’s taken me a bit to sort out the AZ audit results and everything that happened surrounding them. I try to keep this stuff short, but if you are going to understand it, you are going to have to invest some time. I pointed out a few days before the briefing, that Jovan Pulitzer wasn’t on the briefing list. Jovan wasn’t a direct participant in the audit but his technology was in use, and apparently he was doing the analysis of the collected data and writing the summation of findings from his equipment. It was looking like his findings wouldn’t be presented. They weren't
There was a leak of a report a day or so before the results and the bullet taken from that was that the counts pretty much matched what Maricopa County had, and Biden won - so there. Hold on. This wasn’t a recount. We’ve done those to death for decades without much result. This was to be a “full forensic audit”. Well it was supposed to be anyway. It was more thorough than anything has been done historically. A good deal of the electronic components were withheld from the audit team and there was no cooperation that would have allowed misconceptions to be quickly cleared up.
In the hours before the presentation another “real” summation document began circulating and it came from reliable sources. Apparently Doug Logan was threatened by an AZ Senate attorney to remove several comments including this one: “ Based on these factual findings, the election should not be certified, and the reported results are
not reliable.” Mmmmmm…… This is a McCain connected attorney and the threat was reportedly to remove his lawsuit protection provided by the Senate.
It is very possible that we have good guy and bad guy games being played with all of that. I spend a lot of time thinking on this stuff and I have a whole lot of headaches. It is very difficult to figure who is maneuvering while watching from the sidelines.
Having now seen the briefing and studied the material, my overall conclusion is that I agree. This should not be a certifiable election result.
I’ll address the electronic findings first, or at least a few of them. Although there were a number of significant findings on the electronic front, we still do not have a clear picture of what was happening there. I’m actually afraid of one of the more significant findings and that was that the election results were deleted from the Election Management Server. Maricopa has already lead with the line that “yes, we deleted that, but we have the archive. You didn’t subpoena the archive.” I can almost guarantee that the election results are no longer on the Tarrant county server either. Our results are on removable drives and they are removed and stored.
Even with traps like that, I think there are some very significant findings. Just one as an example is that certain access security logs were over written. The auditors have video of the person doing it and it is obvious subterfuge. It’s also an issue that will make lawyers rich arguing over it. Another piece of equipment that was used in adjudication had two drives installed. The significance is that the machine was capable of a dual boot and each drive had different systems on it. One of the drives also had WA and SC voter data on it. Say what!!!???? In AZ? how do you explain that? Then we get to common passwords used by multiple people and the fact that the County didn’t posses the main Admin passwords which are pretty serious on their own. There is a reason that the Admin password thing is a real thing. There’s enough here on the electronics that I want to throw all of the stuff in the crusher. There’s no such thing as an “air gap” and even in the largest counties, they are no match for nation state level, or major corporate actors. When you are dealing with our elections, those are your adversaries. This county can't even get secure passwords so we know who did what.
The main findings weren’t in the electronics, but that there are numerous irregularities in the people casting votes, and with the ballots received. Dr. Shiva did a presentation that is painful to watch due to the detail where he showed enough ballot envelope irregularities that the presidential race is in question from that alone. He identified 17000 duplicate votes as well as other anomalies. What isn’t said is that every down ballot race is easily in question now including two of those County Commissioners who only won by a few hundred votes. This is where the attack should now be in my opinion.
After Shiva, Doug Logan told us of tens of thousands of other questionable votes from voters who had voted from previous addresses or from out of state. These easily could sway the presidential and senatorial election and again likely did sway the down ballot races. This needs to be followed up with a detailed canvass of those voters. This was not a full audit, because that wasn’t done. We do have Liz Harris’s canvass that did not address specific issues, but found the potential for thousands of fake votes. We need a specific canvass now to prove this up.
Even without that canvass, my signature would not have gone on the certification of this election. The result is unknowable for any race on the ballot.
I was distracted for a bit during the presentation, but I heard at one point that 100% of the paper used in the election was not as specified. We know that there was a detailed examination of the paper done and that was discussed in the briefing, but there were no details provided. Section 5.7.5 of Vol 3 of the report addresses this, but in limited detail. Some of this is because all the reports aren’t finalized, but also because there was apparent pressure to glaze over these details. Pulitzers initial 80 page report is no where to be seen. There is an issue with misprinting the ballots that has to do with the placement of ovals that I just don’t have the energy to get into just now.
This is a link to a video of Patrick Byrne, Jovan Puluitzer and Joe Flynn, Gen Michael Flynn’s brother. They are discussing the results and the way the media spun them. The whole thing runs an hour and 24 minutes. The first part addresses the media spin. I have some reservations about some of what they are saying, but they are smarter and more informed than me so there is that. The second part that begins at about the 50 min mark is a must see in my opinion. It addresses the paper and associated issues in some depth. They also explain that only 3 of 13 or so studies on the actual ballots are complete. I’m not sure that its’ after the 50 min point but they do stress that what is presented is not the most damaging information they will have. None the less, this is very damaging. VERY damaging. I think it’s conclusive. Watch the video. It also explains at least one reason that the admin password was a key issue. I have also just learned that part of Jovans findings are going to bypass the senate entirely and go straight to the AG. I find that most interesting. That is not in the video.
