On the legal front, the Lindell 1st amendment suit was filed in Minnesota. The two principle attorneys are from Texas and in order to practice there "pro hac vice", or in english, for this particular event, they need approval from the court and a local attorney to appear beside them. The firm the local attorney worked for, fired him and withdrew their support for the case. In fact they seem to indicate they never gave it support. This isn't the end of the world, the attorney can still act as local council, but I'm concerned that firms are so afraid of these matters and I wonder about the pressures behind the scenes. I'm also concerned that Lindell didn't have an absolutely solid team lined up before he jumped off on this.
